Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University (PMU) is organizing the International Conference on Smart and Sustainable Architecture and Urban Resilience (SSAUR 2026) from April 7-9, 2026, in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. This conference will foster the exchange of scientific knowledge, focusing on the critical intersections of design innovation, advanced technology, urgent climate resilience strategies, and the preservation of cultural identity within the evolving built environment. Addressing global urban and architecture challenges like rapid urbanization, resource scarcity, and digital transformation, SSAUR 2026 brings together international scholars, practitioners, government policymakers, practicing professionals, researchers, academics, students, and the general public. It serves as a vital platform for multidisciplinary dialogue to shape future cities, aiming to refine urban and architectural strategic plans, strengthen academic-industry linkages, share best practices, and foster innovative project concepts. All accepted papers will be published as OPEN ACCESS conference proceedings by Materials Research Proceedings (MRP), indexed in SCOPUS, Google Scholar, Inspec, and CAS.

The landmark International Conference on Smart and Sustainable Architecture and Urban Resilience (SSAUR 2026) will be held from April 7-9, 2026, at Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University (PMU), Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia. PMU’s modern university complex offers state-of-the-art conference facilities, equipped with advanced audiovisual technology and high-speed connectivity, providing an ideal environment for scientific exchange (live and online). Through its technical program, the conference aims to provide an outstanding opportunity for leading academic scientists, researchers, and research scholars to address new trends and challenges, and share their experiences and research results on all aspects of Smart and Sustainable Architecture and Urban Resilience, particularly focusing on design innovation, advanced technology, urgent climate resilience strategies, and the preservation of cultural identity within the evolving built environment.
Conference Program
SSAUR2026 will be held during 07-09 April 20246 in Al-Khobar City (Saudi Arabia). The conference main schedule will run in Saudi Arabia time (UCT+3).
Presentation instructions:
- The duration (max) of your speech should be 12 minutes. Besides, there will has a 3-minute Q&A.
- We accept the pre-recording video for unexpected needs. This is optional.
- We request each speaker to prepare and submit the presentation slides.
For your presentation, please use the SSAUR2026 PowerPoint template for the first slide of your presentation. You may edit the template with the title of the talk, author names, and affiliations, leaving all other elements unchanged. This will ensure a common format for all uploaded talks. You are free to use your own style for subsequent slides, if you wish
